Armenian midfielder Eduard Spertsyan of FC Krasnodar has matched the all-time record for assists in a single season of the Russian Premier League.
During an away match against Moscow’s Dynamo in the 29th round, Spertsyan recorded his 16th assist of the current campaign. This achievement places him alongside Dmitry Loskov (2003 season), Hulk (2015/16 season), and Maxim Glushenkov (2023/24 season) as joint holders of the record.
Spertsyan, 25, is a product of Krasnodar’s youth academy and helped his team clinch the Russian league title last season.
