Luka Doncic spoke highly of his on-court connection with LeBron James and Austin Reaves following the Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff elimination.
Despite early season questions about how James would handle a reduced scoring role alongside Doncic, the three players quickly found a strong rhythm. The Lakers went 15-2 in March, ranking among the league’s best in both offensive and defensive efficiency.
During that stretch, James averaged 18.5 points, 7.0 assists, and 6.9 rebounds per game, while Doncic posted 37.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 7.4 assists. Reaves added 21.5 points and 5.8 assists.
“Playing with AR and Bron is an incredible experience. They are two great players, and sharing the court with them was truly fun,” Doncic said after the elimination.
According to team sources, the Lakers believe there are realistic ways to improve the roster around the Slovenian star while keeping both James and Reaves moving forward.
