Jeremy Dudziak, a former Tunisia international who has made one appearance for his national team, is reportedly attracting interest from FC Tokyo. According to local German media outlet “Berliner Kurier,” the J1 League club has set its sights on the 30-year-old midfielder, describing him as an “outstanding technician.”

Dudziak, who plays for Hertha Berlin in the German second division, is a technically gifted midfielder. He came through Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy and made his professional debut with the club before moving on to St. Pauli, Hamburger SV, and other teams. He joined Hertha Berlin in 2023. After representing Germany at various youth levels, he played one match for Tunisia in 2019, a country of his heritage.

In 2024, Dudziak underwent hip surgery, which sidelined him for an extended period. The injury was considered severe, and his return to playing was uncertain. However, through intensive rehabilitation, he made a comeback in January of this year after about 18 months out.

This season, he has made 10 appearances in the league but started only two matches. His contract with Hertha is expected to expire at the end of the season, and the match against Greuther Fürth on May 10 was reported to be his last home game at the Olympiastadion.

As Dudziak explores his options, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Holstein Kiel both showed interest during the winter transfer window. Now, according to the same media outlet, FC Tokyo is also on his list. “Is there a new adventure in the Far East?” they ponder.

Whether he will continue his career in Germany or take on a fresh challenge in Japan remains to be seen, drawing attention to his next move.
