Avangard presented forward Denis Guryanov with a four-year contract offer worth 80 million rubles per season, according to Match TV. However, Guryanov declined the lucrative proposal and opted to remain with CSKA Moscow, where he will earn significantly less.
“A source close to the situation told the television channel: ‘Guryanov turned down this offer and decided to stay at CSKA. He will be paid much less there, but you have to understand his decision.'”
The forward’s agent announced yesterday that Guryanov had extended his contract with CSKA for three years. In the current season, Guryanov recorded 22 points (15 goals and 7 assists) in 56 KHL regular-season games. During the playoffs, he added 7 points (6 goals and 1 assist) in 10 games.

The decision highlights the player’s preference for remaining in Moscow rather than moving to Omsk, even at the cost of a significantly lower salary.
