Daniil Medvedev Rises to Ninth Place in ATP Rankings

Russia’s Daniil Medvedev has climbed one spot to ninth place in the latest ATP rankings, moving up from tenth after the updated list was released on the organization’s official website.

The 30-year-old Russian, who is the country’s top-ranked player, reached the fourth round of the Madrid Masters last week before losing to Italy’s Flavio Cobolli. He now holds 3,460 ATP points.

Among other Russian players, Andrey Rublev dropped to 14th with 2,590 points, while Karen Khachanov moved up to 15th with 2,220 points.

Italy’s Jannik Sinner remains the world No. 1 with 14,350 points, followed by Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz (12,960) in second and Germany’s Alexander Zverev (5,805) in third. Novak Djokovic of Serbia (4,700) and Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime (4,050) round out the top five.
